In legendary entrepreneurial fashion, IdeaPaint was conceived in a dorm room by Babson College freshmen in 2002. The product, a coating that turns wall surfaces into whiteboards—an idea that everyone probably wishes they had thought of first—became a reality through the sheer will of 20-somethings following years of research and failure. Clear, a transparent version of IdeaPaint, turns smooth surfaces into whiteboards or, more accurately, colorboards that allow the surface’s original color to show through. The low-emission and nearly-odorless dry erase paint is Greenguard certified for Children & Schools. •
