Motivated by an employee who survived breast cancer, Berenson Hardware created five new collections to benefit cancer research. “We worked with five breast cancer survivors who provided the look and feel for each collection,” explained Berenson hardware president Lorne Smith in the company’s release. When the new lines officially are unveiled later this month at KBIS, each woman who inspired a collection will be at the show to share her story.
Now through March 31, 2013, a portion of the profits from each hardware item will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation, with a promised minimum donation of $25,000. The five new lines of decorative cabinet hardware—named for the women who helped create them—are available in a special pink finish produced by the company just for this series. The products are available through any retailer who carries Berenson Hardware. See all of the collections in the accompanying slideshow.
