ECOHOME magazine, residential architect's newest sister publication, is set to launch in May in both print and online formats. ECOHOME will provide housing industry professionals (architects, remodelers, and builders) with comprehensive information on the latest green products and technologies. Jean Dimeo, who shares the chief editor role with Rick Schwolsky, says the magazine's primary focus is case studies of green residential housing types. “We hope to reach people who already practice sustainable design and construction, as well as those who are just developing an interest in going green,” she says. Introduced simultaneously with ECOHOME is the Michael J. Hanley Award for Vision and Leadership in Sustainable Building. The $100,000 prize will be presented at an awards gala during the October EcoHome Expo in Austin, Texas. For details on the magazine, awards, or show, please visit
