As day two of Coverings, the annual international trade fair and expo for the American tile and stone market, came to an end, the theme of the day was certainly “fresh.”
After a few years of stagnation and decline, the tile industry is seeing growth again, and manufacturers are celebrating with fresh new products. “Tile is about innovation, and right now the industry is producing great products,” said Ryan Fasan, a tile consultant from Canada.
Though some of the trends in the market have been around for a few years, each year the industry takes design to a new level.
