Eminent Residence

Minneapolis, MN United States

Project Description

Peterssen/Keller had the unique opportunity to collaborate with Brandi Hagen ASID of Eminent Interior Design on an award-winning project on her own home. Untouched since it was built in 1960, the home was in dire need of updating. We worked with Brandi in creating the conceptual layout of the spaces and developing cabinet and material details. The closed-off kitchen was opened to the family room and connected to the dining room with sliding countertop doors. A farmhouse table of reclaimed pine slides out of the center island for larger gatherings. The fireplace was redesigned and faced in warm striated limestone. This project was featured in the Fall 2012 Kitchen Trends magazine, appeared on the 2012 ASID Kitchen & Bath Tour, and won a 2012 ASID design award.
