Project DescriptionStudio di Architettura - Nicola Marcucci
The villa is located in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.
In a time when the architecture goes fast, without hesitation toward lines sometimes cold and expressionless, looking inexorable that feeling of wonder and excitement, this project makes a gesture almost of "reverse", requires a pause that makes you think, but at the time the same can "talk."
By a reinforced concrete skeleton left to itself, the idea was to use dynamic lines and sinuous, classic and contemporary materials. The element that stands out most of all, it's the cover: very low, with overhanging eaves almost to reach out to the '"endless" view that the site offers, making this game of shadows which give the building a sense of mystery and authority . All elements of the house have a color of taupe finutura, including coverage, which blend perfectly with the colors of natural stone terraces, like a monolith built into the rock.
