Project Description

This custom residence was built for a pair of empty nesters that knew exactly what they wanted. The husband got his subteranian garage and basement courtyard and his lovely wife got her oversized main kitchen and an adjoining prep kitchen with a custom walk-in refrigerator.

This 3-story expansive custom home includes the master suite taking up the entire second floor. There are seperate His & Her bathrooms and closets and an attached sitting area. The main level includes a portal entry to an exterior, covered walkway, overlooking the basement courtyard that leads to a 10' tall custom built iron door. From the entry foyer you can turn left to access the great room or hallway to the two spare bedrooms and study at the front half of the house. Or you can walk straight underneath a compound arched entry to the main kitchen. To the Right of the entry foyer you access the foyer bath with its back-lit, fiber optic, translucent, onyx floor and the formal dining hall. The Kitchen, prep kitchen, pantries, office and storage complete the north wing of the main level and the great room and bar finish off the south wing.

The basement includes the movie theater, wine room with adjacent 1,500 bottle climate controlled storage, open air courtyard, dry heat sauna and a 2,000 square foot garage. The movie theater is fully automated with LED rope lighting, leather electric recliners and drop down projector. Control 4 was used to automate all the audio and video throughout the home and all three levels are serviced by a TK Access residential elevator.

The owner commissioned his high school friend to paint a mural that is 10' tall x 20' long on a wall in the garage. The mural entitled Summer of '69, depicts a street scene from down town Fresno circa 1969. Although not entirely accurate, it was recreated using pictures of the era and all the main vehicles in the foreground are family owned current and past.

The backyard includes a Cabana with covered jetted spa, a Gazebo with a gas log set and BBQ kitchen setup and a large pool with another custom hand carved, 10' tall marble fountain which was cut from all the same material as the rest of the home.

The details are endless around the inside and out of this home. It took 3 years to build and is by far one of the finest homes in the San Joaquin Valley.
