Project Description

The home at 103 Windfair Loop is the very essence of elegance, beginning with a brick-paved step-up porch fashioned with decorative iron columns and scrolled iron lanterns. A glance upward reveals a wide-planked, dark wood ceiling. Five sets of French doors open from the porch into the home, which features wide-planked wood flooring, ornate iron chandeliers, brick accent walls, tray and coffered ceilings and other architectural accents. The heart of the home is the combined kitchen and family room, with a broad island defining the kitchen and providing space for casual meals. A Mexican travertine tumbled tile backsplash and vintage copper blend glass tile mosaics add interest to the space, which features the top-tier Viking appliances expected in a home of this caliber. An arched brick surround highlights the nearby wine grotto and three sets of French doors flood the common areas with natural light. The master suite is a serene haven, with a soothing color palette and marble used extensively in the master bath. Furniture-style cabinetry provides ample storage and elegance to the space, which opens to a room-sized walk-in closet with a built-in dresser. The master bedroom, topped with a tray ceiling, has a sizable sitting area that opens to the rear porch. Other notable features of this 4,669-square-foot home include a catering kitchen, walk-in closets and en suite baths with each secondary bedroom, a convenient pool bath, a planning center and a downstairs guest suite. A three-story elevation and broad front yard create an impressive streetscape. The home was built specific to the homesite, which faces a community lake, with windows and French doors providing lake views from nearly every vantage point in the home.
