Project Description

MOXI, the Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation will ignite learning through interactive experiences in science and creativity. The museum will be the county’s first LEED-certified museum and will include more than 17,000 square feet of exhibits arranged in eight themed areas with 70 exhibits focusing on science, technology, engineering and math.

Scheduled to open in late 2016, MOXI will serve children of all ages as well as lifelong learners. The interactive exhibits, designed by award-winning museum planning firm Gyroscope, Inc., align with the national agenda to boost student achievement in math and science.

Located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, California, MOXI will be a destination for area families, visitors to the Central Coast and more with a smart classroom and new media theater to provide unforgettable experiences for learners of all ages. MOXI will also be available for private events for a unique meeting, party or wedding featuring breathtaking views from the third floor Sky Garden.
