Project Description Blu Homes is excited to open its first design center and display home in Northern California, situated on Mare Island. The Mare Island Breezehouse is the first of 4 homes that will be on display, including a Breezehosue, Glidehouse, Balance Metro, and an Element. After these homes are used as display centers, they will be available for sale and residence. The first home in this project is the Mare Island Breezehouse, featuring three bedrooms, a library, and spacious back and front decks. The 2,300 square foot Breezehouse, clad in clear red cedar. The three-bedroom, two-bath home features a library, rear court, and entry court with a large deck perfect for outdoor entertaining. The Breezehouse includes beautiful luxury fixtures and finishes, including Walker Zanger tile, Caesarstone countertops, Kohler fixtures and KitchenAid stainless steel appliances, as well as high tech options including Nest smoke detectors, whole house audio systems, and Level 2 electric car chargers. The iconic design of the Breezehouse offers an elegant and harmonious connection between beautiful indoor and outdoor living. The Breezehouse is centered around its stunning signature BreezespaceTM, a glass-enclosed living area situated under a distinctive “butterfly” roof. Dramatic sliding glass doors or Nanawalls© open to connect the Breezespace to the outdoors, creating an open-air living room that marries the home’s interior with the natural world surrounding it. Blu Homes is especially excited to help revitalize Mare Island, a former naval base that rebuilt the Pacific Fleet, with our factory and community of Blu homes. Centrally located for convenient access, just 30 minutes south of Napa Valley, and 45 minutes north of San Francisco, we welcome visitors on a weekend trip, or those who might call Mare Island home for a longer stay.
