Project Description

The city’s density requirements for this TOD site pushed the design team to be creative and come up with a workable design that was compatible with the existing neighborhood, but took full advantage of the opportunity for new sustainable housing near transit. The site is equidistant between two lightrail stations, less than a 5-minute walk away. Large shopping center is nearby too. There are 94 For-Sale Townhomes featuring 8 distinctive lifestyles built around open floor plans w/Great Room living. Homes range from 1,450 to 1,714 sq. ft. and feature 2 bedroom/2 baths to 4 bedroom/3.5 baths. All homes feature a 2-car, direct-access garage w/a variety of living on one, two or three levels. The homes have a fresh, contemporary flair and designer finishes to attract a wide range of buyers. The design brings in traditional elements of brick, but utilizes custom iron details for balconies/canopies to provide a current appeal. The core of the new neighborhood is a WiFi outdoor living room w/fireplace, fountain and a myriad of fun structures to entertain all ages. Where three-story living can be rather typical in this region, these homes achieve exciting, exceptional interior spaces w/ceilings up to 11 ft., extra windows to let in more light, and second-story living rooms w/bi-fold doors that open onto a large, spacious entertaining deck to create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. The kitchen, the heart of the home, features an innovative 9' x 9' dining island. Every detail was studied, like the powder wall hung lavs that provide a contemporary vibe, and every advantage taken for storage, even the unique bathroom cabinets with the addition of a drawer below the lav cabinet.
