Project DescriptionHord Coplan Macht is currently designing the re-use renovation of 225 North Calvert Street, a former banking center, into market-rate apartments. The 17-story building consists of 551,000 gsf of area and includes a parking garage located beneath the building. The parking garage combines below-grade and above-grade parking with a total of 445 covered parking spaces.
The renovation includes a complete re-skin of the building and a full gut of the interiors down to the structure. The new space will be turned into 348 market-rate apartment rental units consisting of studios, junior one-bedrooms, one- and two-bedroom units, most with balconies. The residential amenities will include a business center, leasing center, conference rooms, pet care center and covered dog walk area, fitness rooms, club room with entertainment kitchen and rooftop pool area. A portion of the ground floor level along Calvert Street will be turned into retail shell.
