New from Stockholm, Snickeriet melds the craftsmanship of carpentry with the artisanal savvy of furniture design to follow projects from conception to completion. Havet, part of the firm’s inaugural handmade furniture collection, is a testament to these dual capacities. To give the cabinet its etched look, designers used an angle grinder to chisel a distinctive pattern that they say resembles a stormy ocean. The cabinet measures 5 feet 10 inches tall, 2 feet 9 inches wide, and 1 foot 3 inches deep, and is made of stained and lacquered pine and uses steel fittings.
