Architect, educator, and urban planner Joan Edelman Goody, FAIA, of Boston-based firm Goody Clancy, died Sept. 8, 2009, at the age of 73, following a brief illness. During her more than 40-year career, in which she took on several high-profile local architectural projects, Goody gained national recognition for her work, along with awards from the Boston Society of Architects (BSA). Goody Clancy has established The Joan Goody Scholarship Fund in her honor; contributions will be managed by the BSA.
