The American Institute of Architects' (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) has opened registration for the annual COTE Top Ten Green Projects awards program. Now in its 15th year, the COTE awards program recognizes the importance of sustainability and acknowledges architects as key drivers of environmentally responsible design.

To be eligible, projects must be built and completed after 2001, and while location is not limited to the United States, the projects must have been designed by an architect licensed in the U.S.

Visit the COTE Top Ten Green Projects awards website for entry information and to register. Registration and submissions must be completed by Jan. 24, 2011. All winning projects will be exhibited May 12-14 during the 2011 AIA National Convention and Design Expo in New Orleans.
