Air King. Professional Outdoor Series range hoods are made for damp locations and are equipped to ventilate covered outdoor kitchens and grills with fan settings from 300 cfm to 1,200 cfm; fans activate automatically when they detect heat. Arizona Tile. The latest collections of natural stone and porcelain tile include EcoAlabaster, an Italian tile with more than 40% recycled content; Eclipse, a modern-styled Italian tile line (shown here in brown); and Bastoni Mosaics, which cover backsplashes, fireplaces, tub surrounds, showers, and walls in four color combinations. EcoAlabaster glazed porcelain tiles come in two natural colors and three square sizes, and Eclipse comes in a 6-inch-by-24-inch plank format. Panasonic. The WhisperControl humidity and temperature sensor anticipates condensation and automatically turns on the Panasonic ventilation fan. Unlike traditional sensors, which turn fans on in response to a rapid rise in humid air and therefore could cause them to switch on unnecessarily in certain climate zones, the maker says, this wall-mounted unit detects hot air and humidity based on dew point.
