Manufacture of the Truss Boot with Break Away Overhang (patent pending) - device which helps reduce the stress being applied to a roof during a tornado or hurricane. As wind hits the side walls of the structure and tries to lift up the roof using the overhang, our device allows the overhang to flip up or shear off, helping the roof to remain in place during the storm. This device turns the overhang and the main roof boards into two separate systems. Blocking is installed between truss boots to help reduce the amount of wind trying to get under the roofing plywood. We also offer a break away overhang mount and a plywood security strap (patent pending). Now homeowner's have a fighting chance toward surviving a major wind storm.
