Anyone who has attended the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show knows that finding a steal of a deal is extremely hard—if not, almost impossible at this annual event. It’s just not that kind of show.
The sheer nature of K/BIS—a show dedicated to the two most expensive rooms in the house—causes the products to be on the pricey side. So, seeing $100-per-square-foot lava stone countertops and $1,000 ranges is not uncommon. You can find entry-level products, but many aren’t even worth investigating, let alone installing in a customer’s home. Nevertheless, we set out to find some cool and interesting-looking products that didn’t cost an arm and a leg.
In our K/BIS luxury products roundup, we showed you some items that included a $1,400 showerhead, a $12,000 teak sink and countertop, and a $4,500 vanity. Great looking? Yes. Affordable? Hardly. This time around, we have assembled a handful of products that can help you achieve a luxury look at a fraction of the cost.
This week’s roundup includes a line of wood countertops that will only set you back around $20 per square foot, an all-in-one bamboo countertop and bath sink that costs less than $600, and a solid wood vanity with a solid Carrara marble top that retails for about $2,000—for both pieces.
If $2,000 seems like a lot for a vanity and countertop, watch the video: You’ll see that this really is a bargain!
