Marmon, Jr. and Edward Mok in 1953, the firm initially established itself as a leader in architectural design of educational facilities and housing for the elderly. Growth and expansion has brought diversification into more sectors, including:

Higher Education
K-12 Schools

Recreation Sports
Public Assembly

Marmon Mok’s history is punctuated by a legacy of landmark projects, including the South Texas Medical Center Master Plan, Terminal 1 of the San Antonio International Airport, the Alamodome, Cancer Therapy and Research Center, Security Service Federal Credit Union Corporate Headquarters and the Texas A&M San Antonio Campus Master Plan, among many others.

The cornerstone of Marmon Mok’s success is its commitment to leadership, integrity, service to the community and its staunch allegiance to clients, employees and colleagues. In 2008, the Texas Society of Architects honored Marmon Mok with the Firm Award for its “enduring quality architecture, and exemplary service and dedication to the profession, and to the community.”
