Nine By Six, an exhibition opening Oct. 29 at Boston's Gurari Collections gallery, celebrates the work of a group of watercolor artists who are connected by more than their love of plein air painting.

Artist Wendy Artin, architectural colorist Tina Beebe, architect Jeremiah Eck, FAIA, partner at Boston firm Eck MacNeely Architects, Santa Monica, Calif.–based architect and educator Stephen Harby, architecture educator Alexander Purves, and Buzz Yudell, FAIA, partner at Moore Ruble Yudell in Santa Monica, all share a love of both watercolors and architecture, and among them exist many professional and personal ties.

Nine By Six showcases their landscapes, still lifes, and architectural studies. Two opening receptions for the exhibition will be held: the first on Oct. 29, 6-9 p.m.; the second on Nov. 5, 6-9 p.m. Gurari Collections will show the exhibition through Nov. 28. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.; Sunday, 12-5 p.m., or by appointment. Visit Gurari Collections' website.
