The American Institute of Architects' (AIA) Design for Decades exhibition showcases the best examples of architectural excellence—at every scale and across all building types—created by AIA members.
Established to promote the value of design and celebrate every segment of architectural design, Design for Decades will exist both online as a virtual exhibition beginning in winter 2011 and at brick-and-mortar venues and institute events, such as the 2011 AIA National Convention, the AIA headquarters' new gallery space, or chapter locations.
AIA associate, international associate, and allied members may submit up to four projects in categories including small, large, commercial, residential, public, private, historic preservation, landscape design, and several others. Projects selected for the online exhibition also will be considered for the real-life exhibitions.
Project submissions will be accepted through Nov. 12, 2010. Visit www.aia.org/practicing/projects/AIAB085965 for entry details.
