AIA Mississippi Lets the People Have Their Say

The AIA Mississippi is calling on the public to participate in its annual design awards competition by choosing the 2010 People's Choice Award. All 36 projects entered into the chapter's 2010 Design Awards program are posted to http://www.aiamississippi.org/poll.cfm?pollnbr=9113. For the main design awards judging, the jury focused on selecting projects that enhance Mississippi's architectural heritage and that incorporate some level of sustainability. Members of the public simply visit the site and vote for their favorite project, whether residential, new construction, renovation restoration, or architectural interior. The public voting period closes Dec. 30, so visit the site, view the projects, and vote for the People's Choice Award.--S.L.M.
