The AIA Seattle chapter runs one of the most rigorous AIA design awards programs in the country, and this year's slate of winners is no exception. I always love to see who comes out on top. In this case the winners include several architects who have appeared in RA and Custom Home--Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, Cutler Anderson, Olson Kundig, Heliotrope, Weinstein A/U, and DeForest Architects.

To boot, the jury of Jim Jennings, Sheila O'Donnell, and Gilles Saucier only bestowed one Honor Award this year, and it went to a residential project. That would be the Colman Triplex by Workshop AD, an urban infill development in Seattle.

AIA Seattle does a great job of presenting these online. Check out the website for more details.--m.d.
