Cooper-Hewitt's National Design Week starts Oct. 9!
|
To celebrate all things "design," the Smithsonian Institution's Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York will be offering free admission to visitors Oct. 9-17 as part of its annual National Design Week. A variety of public programs will be held, including the fifth annual Teen Design Fair and a panel discussion between National Design Awards winners, both on Oct. 12; a panel discussion about the business of design on Oct. 13; and the National Design Awards Gala on Oct. 14, which will include an announcement of the People's Design Award winner.
The winners and finalists of the 2010 National Design Awards were announced back in June.--S.L.M.
