Good Design on Exhibit
|
Every year the Chicago Athenaeum's Good Design Awards program recognizes the world's most prominent designers and manufacturers for products, works of art and architecture, and other examples of visionary, innovative, and boundar-pushing design that advance beyond the everyday and ordinary. On June 14, the Chicago Athenaeum, in partnership with the European Centre, Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, will open an exhibition of the 2009 Good Design Awards and will hold an opening reception on June 15 from 5 - 7 p.m. The exhibition will only run through June 16 and will be open from 12 - 6 p.m. each day. Visit the museum's website, http://www.chi-athenaeum.org/, for details and location information. For an evergreen look at the 2009 Good Design Award winners, visit the awards homepage.
